Works great on N64 and SNES
Great line doubler at a great price. Works very well on my N64 and SNES. I don’t have a GameCube, but plan to get one in the near future and will likely use this for that system as well.

Best picture without doing an HDMI modification
I've tried a number of adapters, and the quality with those other adapters was pretty bad on a modern 4k TV. This adapter can use the s-video signal which is so much better than the composite output that the other adapters used. My HDMI modded Nintendo 64 recently died, and this adapter is good enough that I'm not going to bother HDMI modding my new Nintendo 64.

it's on another level
I want to thank the kaico company for making such excellent products, if the name of the video adapter that you are going to use in your retro console is called kaico, then you are making one of the best investments, to give life to the classic, kaico has a diverse catalog of adapters for different types of consoles, but today I want to talk about this excellent purchase that I just made (kaico labs 2x) compatible with super nintendo, nintendo 64 and nintendo game cube, although there is another one that also complies but does not as professional as this one that is yellow and customizable the other is green the box is kaico the same but it is a bit more common, this one has the option to customize it I will upload two images, number 1 is how it comes from the factory and the Two is how I found it to look better. It took me more than 1 hour making comparisons to get the best out of it. I advise you to download the update on its official page to be able to configure it, I'll play another one. or subject, some will say no that the super eon 64 is better and I tell them it is not like that I had them both and only the eon improves the brightness and contrast a little and some color something that you can do yourself here customizing the image without count that the price is around 140 to 150 dollars for half of it you can buy this and here are the images remember number 2 is the best is how I found the touch of magic, but if what you are looking for is the perfection of I advise you to combine the image with the mclassic, it is an excellent accessory for consoles, it is almost a video card that adds a touch of borders and eliminates the so-called saw teeth, well, there is nothing left to talk about, I only gave you my opinion since I It cost a lot to learn about the subject to improve the quality of my Nintendo 64, I just hope that my experience helps you make good investments to get the most out of it...

Great results
Got this for my N64 that was hooked up with a composite to hdmi adapter. After much strain on my eyes, i looked for a better adapter. This made playing way better! Totally recommend.

FALSE ADVERTISING, DOESN’T EVEN WORK - DO NOT BUY
Kaico makes a stunningly compelling case for the ability to submit zero-star reviews. I have never in my life purchased a piece of gaming hardware with less value than this utter garbage. First of all, despite MULTIPLE claims to the contrary, this unit does NOT power on unless hooked up to an external power source- I spent 60 dollars SPECIFICALLY for this feature, and it’s an outright lie.Secondly, IT DOES NOT WORK. No matter what setting I choose, I either get a blank screen or a rainbow. I just tested it against a $25 cheapo one to confirm that my console is not the issue. So I can CONFIRM, it DOES NOT WORK.Will seek a return, and will never buy from Kaico again.

The Best N64 Budget HDMI Adapter
(Note: N64 tested, only) Like all Kaico products, this thing delivers. Outside of HDMI modding your N64, this is the best way to go. The Super Eon 64 might be slightly sharper but, if so, I doubt it would be by much, as it utilizes a very similar method of picture scaling, as the Kaico. For the best picture, for the best money... You can't beat this thing. There is a catch, however... N64 titles output various resolutions, from 240p to 480i. Having said this, realize that your picture will vary, depending on what resolution the Kaico is working with. Having said that, no result looks bad. They all look good. But, a N64 title, rendered in 240p, is not going to look as good as a game rendered in 360p or 480i. For example of what to expect... 240p will look like your standard S-Video output. 360p will look like standard component output. And 480i will look like 480p over component. Yes... Many games will output resolution quality, as good as your PS2. One small issue, is that some games will experience some slight black artifacting, on the borders of the screen... It's slight, and There's not many games that encounter this issue... But, it does happen. It's a common issue with HDMI adapters. There's only one major downside to this adapter... Like most HDMI N64 solutions... Resident Evil 2, struggles to display correctly. The game will show on screen, yes... But, the game is constantly interrupted with a 3-4 second, all black screen. From what I can tell, this occurs during any game screen change, no matter how small. This is rather disappointing, as no one wants to use standard composite cables, just to get this game to display without issues. Especially, since many modern TVs are doing away with the composite input. It would be nice if Kaico could possibly find a way to remedy this issue, through a firmware update, as this adapter is firmware updatable. Sound quality is great, no interference of any kind... Nice and Crisp. No delay, other than the quick boot-up of each game cartridge. No detectible in-game lag. Colors are very accurately displayed, no color distortion of any kind. A great Kaico product, as usual. Highly recommended.Update: It seems the "Black Screen" issue, is not limited to RE2... Vigilante 8, also suffers this blackout problem. But, since it is something that happens during screen changes, you will not encounter the problem, while in a match, within the game. But, unfortunately, with RE2, it will constantly interrupt your game, as the entire game is made up of screen changes.I will try to keep everyone informed on any further games, I encounter this issue with.Update: I have tried this device out with the Gamecube. I have not encountered the black screen issue, with any Gamecube games, yet. As far as picture quality goes... It's just slightly less sharp than what "GC Video" HDMI adapters, offer. Unlike the N64, your picture results will not vary based on resolutions. But, picture quality will vary upon the use of the "Smoothing" feature... As some games look good with it, and others don't, depending on the game's graphics... Where as the N64, every game looks better with the "Smoothing" feature, enabled, regardless of rendered resolution.
