Repair don’t leave it threadbare
Use before laying cold tarmac in the bag then sealed the edge afterwords

First time using did seem to create a better seal using cold lay, did buy a whacker plate as well but test will be after down after year or two but pleased so far

Perfect for sealing the edge of tarmac, just order twice the amount you think you will need as it really doesn't seem to go far.

Cold tar repairs
I used this as a tack and sealer for filling in pot holes when using cold tar compound. I also bought the Tarmac tamper. I was using it on holes that were quite shallow and so far the repair has been ok.

Last batch of my repairs holding up well
Expensive but in multi pack works out reasonable price. Clean & dust out the hole, key base & edges with this spray and fill hole with cold lay tarmac, tamp down, seal the edge a bit with this too if you want. Patches I repaired in this way 2 year ago show no sign of lifting!

Love it
Works really well with cold lay tarmac, sucks all of the moisture out for a hard finish, recommend to do on a dry/warm day for quick drying results
