Jonard SST-716 Security Shield Tool with Black Oxide Finish, For 1.1cm Hex Shielded F Connectors

If you work in the cable industry, regardless of whether you use security shields, this is one damn handy tool. It makes connecting and disconnecting at congested taps, tight spaces, lock boxes, etc... far easier. This one in particular is much more robust and well designed than most I've had over the years. Any professional can and will tell you that having the correct, quality tools can make your life and job much easier and more bearable.

This tool works great, it fits my coax torque wrench and fits perfectly in security sleeves. It is also a very high quality piece.

Works as advertised

The cheaper looking ones are what I've had, for over 10 years.The cheap ones work ok, but they don't work well with the non-flat-edged 7/16th inch compression connectors with the knurled edges, like these (pictured in review): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BKK1GDV6/This tool works perfectly fine with the knurled edges on those connectors. This is what's often used by Spectrum.

This tool fits inside the metal tube that some cable TV companies install around the coax connector on cable and Wi-Fi boxes to prevent tampering. Some of the tools I have purchased in the past do not fit inside the tube, this one does and is easy to handle.
