Q: Does anybody eat it as a cereal ? I don’t see instructions as to how to make it?

Yes, you can soak it overnight. Rinse it and can eat as cereal. It's pre cooked already. Best buckwheat in the world is from Russia, Altai.

Q: Is it 2 x 1,5 kg bags or just one?

Two bags of 1.5kg buckwheat(total 3 kg)

Q: are these raw, or are they toasted

1 cup of buckwheat per 2 cups of boiling water; add salt to taste (I usually put like 1/3 of teaspoon) and really good piece of unsalted butter (like tablespoon. If using salted butter, reduce salt and find your own amounts). Bring to boil, cover, and reduce hit to very minimum. When it absorbs all water, it is done. You can eat as is adding butter to hot kasha or add some cold milk. Some kids like it with ketchup or with a cup of tomato juice (not in a plate with kasha :) It is good with caramelized onion and/or roasted mushrooms. Roasted ground meat/chicken is good to add, too. You can make pilaf with it but do not add spices except black pepper. You will kill kasha's original taste.
