I am a soap maker and sorbitol is one of the most important ingredients for my organic glycerin base. The purity and clarity of the sorbitol used will directly effect the look, texture and overall quality of your finished product. After dissolving this down to a 70% solution it was light blueish green and very very clear that looks exactly like real water - what I needed so I'm very happy with the quality and price. The only improvement could be to grind the granules down more to a power to dissolve fast rather than slow.

I bought this item after reading an online gummy candy recipe that suggested sorbitol is the "secret ingredient" to help give gummies that springy quality of store bought. Having now made multiple batches with and without use of sorbitol, I now have to agree it improves homemade gummy candy texture/quality. Bulk Supplements offered this item to me as a free sample following my first purchase of a full price item. I was so happy with product quality and customer service that I immediately bought my next bag of sorbitol from them.

I usually drink my coffee with 3 teaspoons of sugar.. i went to 2 teaspoons of sorbitol and 1 of sugar. So far it seems to be working great. Tastes the same.

I've trusted this company for other supplements, and this one is equally good. Didn't buy it as a sweeter, but for its laxative properties, since whole psyllium husk is currently unobtainium. (I discovered that sorbitol is the naturally-occuring component in plums that made prunes legendary as a laxative.) Warning: work your way up gradually to the right dose to avoid cramps and other unwanted side effects.

Cleanest and lowest prices. This is a good product from a good company. We get several suppliments from them and they are always the best quality/purity and the best prices.

I put 1 teaspoon in an about 3 ounces of water and downed it to see if I could tolerate it.(I bought it to use as a laxative). I had a reaction to it. shortly after taking it I started to get strong ringing in my ears and a prickly sensation in my feet and I was hit with a strong hot flash. I also got a very nasty taste in my mouth that just got worse as time went on. I finally went and used mouthwash to get that taste out of my mouth. It also made me feel like I had a weird feeling in my mouth. It felt like it caused a rapid overgrowth of bacteria or fungi in my mouth or something – – it's hard to describe. Even after using the mouthwash I couldn't get the taste completely out of my mouth and the taste was even there the next day when I woke up. So apparently this does not agree with me. I gave it three stars because it seems to be tolerated OK by a lot of people--but it's definitely not for me that's for sure.
