Could be dangerous
Works well but this one doesn’t have the valve to prevent the air from pushing into the mouth (and further lodging food). You have to put the pump down AWAY from the mouth, then place on mouth and pull pump up. It makes me nervous tbh

In my opinion, could be dangerous
I returned this and put the extra money out for the original LifeVac. This device requires you to push the plunger in BEFORE placing it on the mouth. If you need to do a second plunge you MUST remove it from the mouth to push it in, then place it back on the mouth and pull out to remove the debris. I can imagine my being in emergency mode and forgetting to remove it each time. In examining the device, it looked like you would force whatever is in the throat farther back if you did forget to remove it first. That is NOT the case with the LifeVac. You place it on the mouth, push in and then out.

Not a life saving device
Use life vac it’s easier to use . Crazy this is $30! The grease inside had dried out and you couldn’t pull or push the plunger no matter what! Wouldn’t have been able to save anyone cause it couldn’t be used! Thankfully I tested it out! And both purchased were that way.
