Good part good price
Our York 5 tons home AC went out this summer, the motor stop running. I first replace the capacitor using this (Boffdock 45+5 MFD Capacitor ±5% 45/5 uF 370/440 VAC CBB65 Round Dual Run Capacitor), but the motor would still seize up after 20 minutes. Decide to replace the condenser fan motor too. Could not find the original motor. able to locate the old motor to this compatible motor Part # S1-02440899000. using that number to locate this A/O fan motor # F48AA68A50 that is compatible to original A/O motor. (F48AA68A50 - Replace for York Coleman Luxaire Genteq/A.O. Smith OEM Condenser Fan Motor THGF36S41S3A THGF60S41S3A - 1/4 HP 208-230 Volt 850 RPM) Turn out this motor is a newer version of the old motor. Which I 'm this lucky at Poker or Lotto, LOLreplaced Fan Condenser motor and capacitor. using this A/O fan motor F48AA68A50 was the best choice. 3 months now works great best price and value from Amazon. Glad I did not go with another brand from Repair Clinic which more expensive and made in China or India. So happy A/O made in USA. Both Capacitor and motor works great, got both from Amazon

Solved Dimming Lights
I used to have a problem with my older Fedders A/C unit, when it started up it would dim the lights in the house. I installed these four parts and the problem was solved. Start-up was quicker, quieter and no more lights dimming. Was easy to install for all these parts and all less the $50.NOTE: When doing this type of work be sure to DISCHARGE any capacitors in relation to the install, you can get a sizable shock from charged capacitors.I install these parts all available on AmazonAMI PARTS SPP6 Hard Start Capacitor Replacement 115V Thru 288VAC Hard Start kitDreyoo Carrier HVAC Motor Contactor, 24V 40 Amp Coil 2 Pole Replacement Relays Compatible with C230B45/7.5 MFD Capacitor ±5% 45+7.5uF 370/440 VAC CBB65 Round Dual Run Capacitor43-25134-02 -Rheem OEM Oval Replacement Run Capacitor 5 UF/MFD 370 Volt

Much larger body than the original
If you are replacing the capacitor in an RV air conditioner this is a much larger, both taller and fatter, than what you will find in a Dometic or Coleman unit.It fit into the compartment but just barely.

Yes!!!!!!!!
This was the perfect replacement for my AC unit, which broke the day before the start of a major heatwave. I was hoping this was the fix, and it was (mine was 6 years old and rusty). I found this perfect replacement and it was overnighted (with a second for the future) and arrived just as I removed the heat pump cover.NOTE: If you don't know which wire goes where, take a pic. Then look at the top, and you will see the capacitor has three inputs: one with 2 terminals, one with 3 terminals, and one with 4 terminals. The color of the wires corresponds to the terminals. In my case, the purple wire was the fan and went on the one with 2 terminals (doesn't matter which). The red went on the one with 3, and the yellow the one with 4. Yours may be different but that's how it works for those of us new to capacitors.

Fixed: Air blowing but not cooling
I have a new HVAC that was installed in May of 2020. So I was surprised when the air wasn't cold and the temp in the house was hitting 80. The symptoms were that the outdoor condensing unit would blow air from the fan but there was a buzzing noise for 1-2 seconds and then it would stop. Almost as if something wouldn't start.I researched it for a while and bought this capacitor. I had an appointment with our HVAC vendor tomorrow that was going to cost $109 just to "look" at it. So the repair would have been probably $200-300. For $18, I replaced it myself and it fried right up. It now not only blows cold air, but it does it BETTER than what we had when it was installed. So based on that, looks like I had a bad capacitor for a while. It was VERY stratifying calling my HVAC vendor and saying, "I fixed it myself. Please cancel my appointment."YouTube it and then make sure you take pictures of the wires. Make note of your capacitor and order what you need. 30 minutes and you'll have your AC back.

Great Fit
Started my AC back up with no problem after replacing the capacitor seen a lot of reviews of them, only lasting about a year, which makes sense. Considering a on brand capacer is about 40 bucks. Either have plenty of stock or use it as a quick fix until you can get a brand named one. Will definitely be ordering a few more to keep as backups!

Not Purchasing Again.
I ordered 3 capacitors in preparation for the old ones going out. I replaced one capacitor in April 2023. My AC went out yesterday Sept 6, 2023 and I thought it might be low on freon so I called the AC Tech. He found it was a low charge on my capacitor. It was showing 1.6 and it should have been a 5 on the meter. So glad I didn't reorder another 3 to have on hand. I'll be ordering another brand and be ready when the other two go out.
