Stephen [DVD] [2021]

What a sad story. We remembered the murder but not its resolution, so this was fascinating. We were glued to the TV throughout. Institutional racism at the Met. has, we are supposed to believe, been fixed but if this production is reasonably true to events, which I am given to believe it is, then it is alive and kicking. Not to mention their focus on covering up their worst mistakes and prolonged inactivity. It beggars belief - I cannot mention the ending without spoiling it, so be sure to watch right to the end to see what the Met actually did once the pioneering detective, despite all best efforts by the police to foil him, managed to get some of the murderers into court. This with our sincerest commiserations to Stephen's family!

Such a moving Series. The struggle for Stephens parents to obtain justice must have been hell on earth. So brilliantly made. I would definitely recommend this series to anybody.

I returned it as it was unsuitable

A series should be made on murder of Lee Rigby a British serving soldier who fought for his country should be remembered.

This 3 part series follows the Stephen Lawrence murder case after it happens and carries on to the present day. It follows several different characters in it as they try to bring the these men to justice. It's like an old courtroom drama in places.

Great story and actors. They are brilliant and moving! I didn't know that terrible case and it was really tough. I liked this serie very much.
