Worked well to chase and clean fittings I was working with!

these are good quality, and i have use them off and on
i cut my own pipe, and i use these to make sure that my threads match the threads on couplings or unions.i recommend dosing them with wd-40 after use, and liberally when cutting threat with cutting oil

Steel quality terrible
I have frequently used Tap's during my 50+ years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. I bought this set because I could not find my 1" NPT tap. The steel used in this set (I only use 1" Tap), is junk. All I was doing is cleaning up an existing 1" bushing, that already has an NPT thread on it, and this tap not only would not recut it, the Tap itself rounded it's cutting threads over, making it useless. SIMPLY JUNK!!

good taps for the price, but no 3/4
I ordered a few of these to have around the shop. They have held up well so far for the price, but of the two sets I ordered, neither came with a 3/4 inch tap. Each set had a second 1/2 tap in the slot where the 3/4 should be.
