I used my old noctua cooler on a new build with this cheap purchase. Great value to reuse old parts! Gotta love support for older products for new sockets. It had been a while so the included nice simple instructions is very appreciated.I’ve seen a few reviews and a note saying this is a frequently returned item so just gotta say: find out the exact model of your cooler and make sure this one is the right one! There’s a different version that depends on which cooler u have so read the product description before buying.

I needed this mounting kit to fit my older fan to my new Intel motherboard.The kit contained everything I needed, and had excellent instructions. Very easy to install, and fit perfectly.

I upgraded from LGA 12000 to LGA 1700 for my NH-D15, so I required the updated mounting kit. Assembly took about 5 minutes. I believe all that was changed was the mounting height- looks identical. I am using a 12600k with a B-series motherboard so it's not overclocked. I have tried every Benchmark/Torture Test I could find and could not get the max temp in the hottest core to break 60C.I think in the future I may not go back to overclocking as there is little performance to be gained at this point in time.NOTE: Noctua will supposedly upgrade the mounting kit for you for FREE. I just didn't want to wait, nor did I know how long it would take, so I elected to pay the $8 for the kit.

Saved me from buying a new cooler, this NH-D15 will serve me for a long time!

It is great that Noctua produces mounting kits so we can continue using our coolers on newer motherboards without having to purchase a whole new cooler. Great customer services on their part.

Used it to adapt my old noctua from lga2011 to lg1700 on a 12700k, works and keeps my cpu cool even under load
