One of the worst product. Don't ever buy this. None of the strips work. They won't change colour. It would remain as is. Don't waste your money on this. Just buy a reagent / chemical water tester kit.

These are pretty accurate test strips in most regards..i have compared it with two other varities of test strips and also API kit colour tests..the results are definitely comparable and gives you a general idea about the trend of approx values..The instructions need to be followed carefully along with the time for read out, else colour will change..The GH value unfortunately doesn't register high values and maxes out at about 6-9 degrees of hardness ( here it's mentioned in ppm or mg/l)The area in between the test squares is hydrophobic which helps drain the excess water and prevents soiling of other test squares and shaking is therefore not recommended..in fact shaking to remove water hampers test results..( mentioned in instructions)Gives separate total alkalinity values which is goodGh is divalent ions like mg,caTA is gh plus phosphates , sulphates..Kh is carbonates..All these values are given separately..Overall pretty decent and value for money compared to imported brands like esha etcI have those too, they are accurate and this has been compared to those..( These are made in china though)Edit:-Unfortunately, after sometime, the only thing that works is the pH,kh,ghNitrate and nitrite values don't work, probably the reagent used denatures.Cannot recommend.

I've been in the aquarium hobby for the past 25yrs.. I've been using api master test kits for years... Bought this since it was just dip and check.... Worst decision... Terrible product... Doesn't show even one parameter right... Total waster of money... Just threw it away in the dust bin...
