Overall cheap fiber media converters made in China. They tend to loose fiber synchronization at least once a week and performance drops considerable from around 930gbs to almost 10mbs. Only way to solve issue is to power recycle one of the units. Instruction manual shows dip switches to adjust settings but there a no dip switches in the unit. Behavior only present in these units as other more advanced units work perfectly using same fiber cable and same patch cable. As the headline says, you get what you pay for.Update 9/9/2021: Slowdown behavior keeps getting worse, now occurring several times a day.

Bought 2 pair and no problems. Fiber is for each pair is 30yrds using the cheap fiber and communication is fast.

Just plugged them in to my 1/3 mile fiber cable and they worked. And they are cheap.

Wanted to give a minus star got way less mbps than I put in .carried in 150mbps got out 9mbps on the other end, serious waste of money
