It holds its own
The trunk lid on my 6 year old Spyder RTL has been closing on its own for over a year now. I gave this one a shot and just wish I'd done it sooner. YouTube showed me about everything I needed to know about installing it. Getting the old one off was the the most difficult part. New part works great and fits perfectly.

Perfect fit
Perfect fit to replace my worn out unit on my 2016 Can Am Spyder. The major issue I have is the price. I purchased the exact same lift support last year January 2023 for $45. Purchased this unit on March 2024 and it was $27. Why the big price difference for the exact same lift support from the same seller and only 1 year apart?

Keeps the trunk open on my wife's Can-Am at a fraction of what it would have cost at the dealer
Quick easy direct replacement on the trunk of our 2015 Can-Am RTS Spyder. A couple screws to lift off the rear rider seat back, one bolt and a one spring clip, easy as that.Do yourself a favor, make sure you cover the gap between the rear seat and the bike plastics. JUST in case the bolt or the nut falls when you remove them at the top mount.

Great product
Used on my CanAm Spyder to support trunk lid. Left the original one and used this one as a second lift. I have a luggage rack on the lid and needed the additional lift.
