CP 1/2" drive air gun a winner
Have been using Snap-on and their Blue Point air tools for years and always found them durable and plenty powerful. When my composite Snap-on gun went bad I sent it out to be rebuilt and found out that repairing it was not an option (who knew?). I ordered this CP gun because it was half the price of even a new Blue Point gun, and am very happy with the way it feels in my hand and gets any job done. Would buy it again, hopefully no time soon.

Best impact gun i have owned
this impact gun blew all of my expectations out of the water. arrived a week early, comfortable to hold and use, very high torque. as a heavy duty mechanic i always hear people refer to snap-on as the best. while changing u-bolts on a ford f750 we tried to torque them up with a 1/2" snap on impact and it ran out of power, moved on to a 3/4 ingersoll and it to stopped spinning then just for fun used this gun and it kept turning. we stopped to check the torque and it was torqued above 700 ft-lbs. the s2s technology is awesome for gunning on jobs as its easy to switch back and forth. well worth the extra $$ over the cp-7748. 10/10 would buy again.

This impacts beats every single impact i've ever had. Beats all cornhole and snapcrap impacts ive ever had. Compared to the junk my co-workers have, this is the best pneumatic impact in the shop.

6 months junk no warranty......

Excellent performance, fragile finish
I used it once on some large bolts holding down the seat pedestals in my diesel pusher motorhome. I had rented an impact wrench, and that refused to budge them. The Chicago Pneumatic tool made easy work of it, so pleased with the performance. On the other hand, I found the black finish on the nose of the tool to be very easy to scratch. That's surprising, given the sort of work you'd expect to do with the tool. Doesn't hurt the performance, but when you spend $200, you want the tool to look good (or at least, I do).
