I have no idea where it was made, but I was not impressed with the product at all. Used it once, and then threw it to the back of my junk drawer.

Q: Does this work for both right and left-handers?

Yes it does. In fact you can see from the photo that it possesses bilateral symmetry, so it has no specific right or left design elements that would suggest handedness.

Q: Does this work btr than the oxo channel/zester? This looks different so I'm hoping it doesnt mangle citrus garnishes like the one I currently hv

This is a single purpose channel knife. The Oxo and most others have the channel cutter and the small hole zester. If you are looking for a tool to cut a lemon "twist" for your martinis this will do the job. It's not a practical tool for zesting. Hope this helps.
