It is a very true commentary on the profession of doctors in India. The cover itself has a very humorous cartoon, and depicts the predicament of the doctors and the patients in India. The doctor attending to a vast number of patients, is probably the story of almost all the doctors in India. Very simply but brilliantly put. In a way only R. K. Laxman could have put it. Though some of the jokes which have been added on adjacent pages sound like they have been taken from jokes on doctors in the US. Probably that takes a little bit of authenticity away from the trademark Laxman cartoons.

Great book. Even for gifting.
A collector's item. Paper quality if fine for the price. I gifted it to a doctor friend who was moving away. She loved it!!!
