could not program remotes
I could not program any of the three remotes. I called my son-in-law who is always my go to person for help with technology problems. He spent a couple of frustrating hours and finally got one of the three remotes to work if you clicked it several times. Next, I ordered three more remotes from Amazon in case I got a bad batch of remotes and scheduled an appointment with a garage door and gate company to send a technician to our house. The technician worked with all six of the universal remotes and could only get them a couple of them to work intermittently if held within six inches of garage door control box. Not what I would call remote control. So after several frustrating hours and paying the technician $100 the remotes will be going back. If I could give them a negative rating, I would. They are the worst items I have purchased on Amazon.

Secret to programming
Instructions are complete garbage to understand when working with blinking lights and button pressing with no response. Although all the info to program your remote is there, good luck putting it all together and be successful on the other side. What you need to do is watch the programming video located below. It will show you that first you program your remote with chart on the top right. Press remote program button till lit then press remote button you want to use the number of times listed in chart. Then press remote program button again to lock it in. Don’t dilly dally around as these steps need to be done quick without pausing in between. Now it’s time to learn/sync remote to opener. Put opener in learn mode and try remote button to open. If it doesn’t respond go back to step 1 and try another option from chart. I have two different Liftmaster openers and needed to program one button with 3 button presses and other with 2 button presses. Once it programs you’ll see how silly you’ve been reading into the instructions. Good Luck! And watch video below.

Fast and simple!
I was able to program my new remotes in under 3 minutes!!! Excellent product and yes, I would recommend to my friends. The only con is that the remotes looked used. No biggie!

I love these
My house we just bought was built in 90 and the garage door opener was original. I don't want to replace them just yet as they still work. But my remotes that came with the home no longer worked. I have bought several kinds of remotes that also had problems and I thought I was going to have to just break down and buy new garage door openers. A worker from the overhead door company recommended that I try these out. They are perfect. No problems at all and they were very easy to program. I highly recommend.

Instructions and Video INCOMPLETE!
After watching the video and following the printed instructions -- trying over and over again for over an hour and my neighbor even doing the same for half an hour, I was ready to return them. The following day, however, I decided to give them another try. This time -- totally by accident -- it WORKED! And it was all because it requires one final step at the end. Final step: After pressing the "program" button on the remote at the end to "lock in" the program, press the remote control button the SAME number of times again that you originally pressed it ... not just one time to test it. For example, if you are programming it to work with a Chamberlin gate that has a purple button (like mine), you will need to press it two times at the end and then it works! If you have a Chamberlin with a red button, you need to press it three times at the end. The written instructions do NOT include that information, nor does the video clearly convey that fact. Therefore, the only people most likely to have no problem programming their remote are those who have a Chamberlin with a yellow button since it requires only 1 click. The seller needs to add that information in the written instructions, otherwise they will continue to get numerous returns.

A suitable replacement
Bought this as a replacement from a broken Lift Master garage door opener manufactured in the early to mid 2000s. The first attempt at programing the remote worked, but doing in so the other working remotes were deactivated. This was not the fault of the remote itself, but instead, was due to not closely following Lift Master programing procedures. Once I figured out the correct programing procedure all remotes were properly programed and have been working flawlessly. Unlike me, watch the programing video and read the instructions more carefully than I did to save yourself some time.

Won't connect to Stanley Model 105ut
The compatibility list for my opener, a Stanley model 105ut (310 MHz Rolling Code, Securecode) includes the Liftmaster 380ut. Though the claim is that this generic replaces the real deal, it does not; this unit has a smaller list of compatible openers (see pic) as compared to the branded Liftmaster and mine does not appear (ie: no dip switches). Even so, I carefully followed the 2 step directions using programming for all of the other listed openers with no luck. Hope this review saves you some hassle if your opener is not listed in the pic. Returning to Amazon for refund.

Did not work for me
I ended up returning and buying an official Liftmaster one. I followed the directions on this one for 2 hours and nothing. Tried the liftmaster once and it immediately worked.
