Did the job! Infection free for years now!
I routinely clean my German Shepherd's ears, but she still occasionally gets the rare ear infection. After our first infection and vet visit, we were prescribed a medicine that was a pain to dose and left us having to give our dog a bath to try to get all the grease it left off. I had hoped that if I just cleaned my dog's ears more often, we'd not have to use it ever again.Months later during my routine weekly clean, I noticed one of my dog's ears was significantly more dirty than the other. Disheartened and knowing this was a symptom of an infection, I was ready to call the vet again, but decided to try this product before making an appointment. Our yearly exam was coming up and we'd be in very soon anyway. This rinse arrived quickly and we started treatment with it immediately. It smells great (cucumber melony) and is not greasy or oily in any way. Some folks would say there doesn't need to be a scent added, but the artificial added smell did not hinder treatment for us. We dosed it twice a day for a week, then went down to once a day, every other day for a week, then reduced down to twice a week for a week. We are now doing a once a week maintenance rinse with this product in both ears at the end of the week paired with another cleaning wipe used mid-week. This so far has helped keep infections at bay.My dog didn't love having it poured into her ear, so I saturated a cotton ball and let it drip into her ear. I then massaged the ear well for about 20 seconds, carefully removed the cotton ball, let the dog shake anything left out, and dried what I could. My dog has large enough ears that I could do this. With a smaller breed, your best bet is still probably to try to use it as a rinse. It took about five days before I saw a significant reduction in the amount of discharge in the ear. It took the full treatment (about 2 weeks for us) before I was 100% sure we were back to normal. I had our yearly appointment a few days after we finished our last treatment, and just to be safe, I had the vet look at her ears to make sure. The vet said they both looked perfect.Overall, this rinse spared my dog an additional vet trip, cleaned her ears right up, and saved me another vet bill. This product simply works!EDIT Sept 2024: I have used this rinse for weekly maintenance for over three years now. We have not had an ear infection since. Prior to that, my dog was getting them a few times a year. Absolutely going to be a product we keep our dog on permanently.

Works like a dream
My 8 yr old Pit is prone to ear infections. Normally they don’t get too bad and gently wiping them clean and her ear drops will fix it right up. This time was so much worse. Her ear was clogged with what looked like wax, blood, dirt and infection. It was too painful to wipe out and I couldn’t get her drops in deep enough to work. I found this ear flush and figured I might as well try. It was a decent price, easy to use and the best selling point: antiseptic. Well, my dog did not enjoy it. I followed the instructions, got my girl in the tub and placed the nozzle in her really bad ear and went for it. One violated looking pitbull staring at me with distain later, and I could see clogged infection coming out. I gently wiped the outside of her ear, and all of the infection fell out without pulling or pain. It took a couple days, she was shaking her head and glaring at me, but the majority of the debris came out by itself and was quickly and safely treated without further discomfort to my dog. This Antiseptic Ear Flush was better than I expected. Yes, it left me with a very sour-faced house hippo initially, but with just one treatment, her ears cleaned up quickly, with as little pain as possible, and with minimal invasiveness.

Effective and quick
My pup has a lot of sensitivities and we battle itchy, yeasty ears often. Her ears were red inside and out, sensitive to the touch, and were irritated and dry from scratching. I started administering these 2x a day and her ears looked much less red within a few days and. A reduction in yeast. I weaned her down to once every other day and will likely just continue to administer regularly from here on out.

Only thing that works for our golden for cobblestone ear, black spots from chronic fungal infections
We had been trying a lot of different ear flushes for our golden retriever who keeps getting ear infections. What made me buy it is that it is medicated, ketoconazole is anti fungal and keeps the fungus at bay. We always bought zymox and even my husband got the gallon size for our dog. This is the only one we’ve used that got his infection improved by day 2. It’s definitely healing fast! The smell is gone by day 2-3. The redness and the overall discomfort from our pupper had tremendously improved! I don’t think I’m ever gonna get another brand!. We do it as directed, twice daily and his ears are very clean, no smell at all. We also do trim the fur around his ears to get air moving. The medicine itself has no weird strong smell that makes our golden stinky. Other than that nothing else special that we do.This is the best over the counter treatment we’ve used. I’m so grateful this is available here.UPDATE:We’ve been using it on and off. Our boy’s ears have been so good, no more smell, no redness, no itching, the cobblestone ear that we’ve not gotten rid of with prescription meds and multiple zymox brand flush, ear drops etc. his ears now look normal, has very few black spots but I’m so amazed that it actually worked! I just ordered another bottle but our big bottle still has about half since we’ve bought it. We used it for the directed instructions. The smell clears up in about 2-3days when we 1st used it. The 2nd month we had to do another week of it. The 3rd month is really prophylactic. Today, his ears only needed earwax removal. ALSO I’ve not needed to trim his inner ear hair, he has sporting normal length golden retriever ear hair. He is definitely happier!!! No more constant rubbing his ears that wake us up at night!! And I don’t need to buy the tiny Rx Med from his vet that costs $20-$25 for a tiny tiny tube that lasts only for 3days!!! And no more expensive tiny zymox ear drops!
