Good supplement for eye health
Research (AREDS2 study) shows that taking a product containing lutein and zeaxanthin can reverse damage in the center of the retina in people who have macular degeneration. This disease runs in my family, so my eye doctor has recommended I add these supplements to my daily diet as a preventative measure.Lutein and zeaxanthin are found in the retina and lens, where they may act as natural antioxidants and help absorb damaging, high-energy blue and ultraviolet light. This supplement does not contain zinc, but does have the rest of the AREDS ingredients. Two softgels equals one dose. They are small and easy to swallow. These are a good option for those who cannot add extra zinc to their diet.

Much easier to tolerate than the brand I previously uised.
I like that I can take one of the Focus Areds2 type vitamins with zinc in the morning and one without zinc in the afternoon. It means buying two different bottles but I don't mind.
