Excellent speaker wire.
Excellent speaker wire, good price, and is better than that copper coated aluminum stuff which is easy to buy by mistake.

Who knew OFC cable would make such a difference?
I've heard people mention how using OFC cable, like this item, can improve the sound produced by your speakers. I switched from 18 AWG regular copper cable to this 14 AWG OFC and was astounded by the difference in sound quality. Sound detail that had been lost in transit to the speaker is now audible. The cable is well made and has no offensive odor as some other brands are known to have.

Working well
Had to rearrange the furniture recently and some of the old cable lengths didn't quite reach anymore. Ran a couple new lengths using this wire and everything's working great. May ultimately run new lengths for all of my speakers since the last time I bought some really thick gauge wire that I have a hard time even getting into the speaker terminals. This is a much more reasonable gauge striking a good balance between plenty of fibers to carry the signal without being so thick it's hard to manage. The only downside to this wire is that it's pure copper, and the price of copper is ridiculously high these days.

Excellent 14 AWG pure copper wire
Well constructed twisted strands 14 AWG wire. This wire is very good. NOT the cheap aluminum copper clad stuff. Insulation is very good and the wire is clearly marked with a prominent red-line for the positive connection (great because it is clearly seen which side of the wire is positive and prevents from connecting speakers out of phase). Some of the best wire for the money that I have found, and I would use it again. If you want banana plugs or other custom connectors, you gotta attach or solder them on yourself; but this wire works just perfectly if bare ends are firmly twisted (on a 1/4 to 1/2 inch bare end) and inserted firmly into the speakers and amp and tightly fastened. Just a note for those of you who scoff at folks who choose to use this less expensive wire and will no longer buy those enormously expensive esoteric audiophile claimed interconnects and speaker connects: I have both types of wire connections, and I hear no difference in this wire as compared to the several hundred dollar per meter wires (which I will never buy again). I have replaced some extremely expensive speaker connects with this wire (as a test) and have, to my old ears, noticed equal sound performance when played through a large audiophile system. If you don't believe me, this wire does not cost that much, try it for yourself and be surprised. Highly recommended.

Straight no nonsense wiring and packaging.
It's everything that the specifications outlined. If there's one thing I wish they would have changed is I wish they would have had a stronger indicator for one wire versus the other.Maybe adding a blue (colored) strip to one side would make it easier to remember when you get to your stereo. Which side you wired to what back at the speaker.

Heavy duty cable!
Probably the heaviest speaker cable that I've seen in a long time. And the fact that the strands are solid copper and not just copper coated makes it work even that much better. I don't have enough amp to overdrive it but I think it could handle everything you could throw at it! You'd be blowing speakers long before you put more juice through these cables then they can handle! Plus the cover is flexible and heavy, easy to strip, and well marked for positive and negative. Great product for the money!

Pick the right gauge that works with all your speakers.
This was great for my 7.1 system. I had different gauge wires for some of the speakers which was not good. My AV did a self-setup calibration, and the sound is fantastic.
