Tom Gates Advent Calendar: 24 mini-books perfect for the Christmas countdown!

After purchasing I read the reviews that advised that these are snippets from the books- of which my son has read most of through the library. I don’t think he will mind though as every time he finished a book he asked me to take pictures of the how-to doodles and make and do activities. He will be delighted with this little treasure trove and it’s displayed really well with the invitation to colour in the doodles for each day on the pockets. The writing is quite small but it makes it more special for kids. I’m really pleased with this purchase which will make a nice change from the expensive and rip off Lego ones I found myself buying into.

My son is a huge fan of the Tom Gates series.He has read almost every regular size book!!!! So when I saw the set of 24 tiny stories in the shape of an Advent Calendar I thought it was a great idea.He is very happy and is eagerly awaiting a new story and wondering what the next book will be about.

We're big and of Tom Gates in our house, so I'm sure this will be a big hit,... on 1st December when he gets it. So far I can say it definitely looks impressive. Really large format (more than A4, but smaller than A3), nice hardback- has a good feel to it and definitely worth the price. Hope this will help anyone considering it- I wasn't sure how big it will be, I was assuming it will be the size of Tom Gates book, but its definitely much bigger. Cant wait to see his face on the 1st Dec.Edit: big success. You have to have a good vision as the writing is tiny, but every day there’s a new Tom Gates story! Brilliant!

Bought for grandaughter so not yet opened but it's huge, sure she will love it.

My som was very disappointed as we thought they were actually new stories. But these are actually bits cut from different Tom Gates books. He opened first 6 and is not interested anymore. There was nowhere in description mention this fact. Very disappointed 😞
