This is the best purchase I have ever made. I couldn’t live without it.. this little gadget opens anything and everything in my kitchen. I am elderly and do not have strength in my hands. I have bought many of these and give them as gifts to my friends who have lost strength in their hands and they thank me constantly.

I have arthritis in my hands and some weakness. This makes it easy for me to open jars and it has a bottle opener in the center- a nice extra. I had an older one I have used for years -still works but some of the grip has worn off- Time for a replacement!

This jar and bottle opener has a hinge with a small opening, and a larger opening. To open small soda and water bottles, put the opener over the cap, hold on to the larger side, and you can easily open these bottles. For larger jars, position the larger side over the cap and use the smaller side to give you leverage to open the cap. The opener has a soft, silicon-like surface on the inside, which grips the cap well.Another advantage of this opener is its compact size, and light weight. If you are looking to use this because you only are one armed, don't buy it when you go to open the bottle cap you have to put a lot of force on the handle and it slips while it's opening. If you are arthritic, this is not the product for you.
