I bought this to be used as a food prep knife for kitchen, camping, grilling. I know it can double as a burger flipper etc due to its width. That is why I bought it. Not premium steel, fine, butcher steel or medium stone will be kept handy then razor sharp again. It works. I decided to try it for trail clearing, cutting down thorn bushes, you name it, I whacked away at it. I checked the edge for damage/or roll. NOTHING. The edge was still pretty sharp after 20 minutes of whacking branches and saplings etc. Put it briefly on my stone, stropped in the palm , back to shaving hair. Go figure.

Great knife for the price but it didn't come with a protective sheave. customer support has been hard to get a hold of

Great knife, had a great size to it and feels nice without being too heavy. It seems pretty durable, just not razor sharp but seeing as how it's a meat cleaver and not for precise slicing of tomatoes or anything or does a great job. Would buy again for sure!

We use this everyday for cutting up meat for Tacos! WE liked it so much we have 2! We keep it sharp ( we have a sharpening stone).

This knife is so sharp and with its unusual shape, I’m scared of it. Need to get my courage up before using it. Great price and the quality looks outstanding.

Good basic cooking knife. Great for slicing beef and cleaning large fish. It takes a crazy sharp edge just using Lansky ceramic cross sticks. Good fit and finish. Workable sheet.
