Easy to Assemble
I ordered this shelter for stray/feral cats that I feed. I started worrying about them having a warm, dry place to sleep in winter, so I ordered this. It didn’t take long for them to check it out and start using it. I did place a tarp over the top of it, to keep it dry inside. I didn’t want to risk water leaking inside.

Easy to assemble
We got this for our (neutered) male cat who likes to spend the night outdoors—when our (spayed) girl cats are inside. One of the girls decided it was for her, though, so we’ll have to get another one! My daughter put most of this together by herself, then asked me for help with the last part. The ramp was too wide to fit, so we just left it off since it’s not really necessary. It’s both sturdy and easy to assemble. Also, the shipping box was well-designed, so there was no damage en route. We left off the wheels so it would stay stable, without rolling off the deck. A lovely addition to our back yard!

Beautiful feral cat house
I gave it 1 star shy of five because of the strange chemical smell.. but loved the house.. hoping I can air out that chemical smell. But otherwise easy to put together and looks very pretty!

Easy to put together
Kudos to whoever prepped this cat house.I appreciate the dow rods to help stationary the parts for easy assembly.Instructions said to use two people. I had no problem doing it myself. Now just hoping the cats use it as we are heading for a cold spell.

Worth buying
I’m happy with it. I had foam cooler boxes but this is far more appealing. My husband and I just put it together. My feral cats eyed it with suspicion but I’m sure they will enjoy it.

Great shelter
This is on my covered porch, so I cannot speak for weatherproof. It took two people about 30 minutes to rush this together. The only thing that did not work was the eaves over the door openings. My cat is 12 pounds. It seems large to me, but I have never been a cat parent before. Anyway, he barely fits in the top--that is where I keep his food and water. He also decided he likes to sleep in his bed by the front door better,so he doesn't spend more time in it than to eat. It was a good purchase anyhow. It looks adorable on my large front porch.

Easy to Assemble
Pretty easy to assemble. The wood is very flimsy though and some pieces broke/required reinforcement. I also reinforced the floor with a 2x4 for extra weight and durability as well as painted it to match our house.

Lasted for 1 Year, a Category 1 Hurricane, and It’s Still Going, but It Has Its Cons!
I ordered this item on December 17, 2022 and received it on January 16, 2023. The date of this review is August 16, 2024.After about 3 months of use, water from a heavy rain got in between the asphalt layer of the roof. The inside of the roof close to the hinge is not as weatherproof as the rest of the house and has delaminated, causing layers of wood to hang down, but it is a great little cat house that I use to offer shelter to the stray cats in my neighborhood. It is so useful, I am considering repurchasing. Attached to this review are pictures of how it held up during a category 1 hurricane. If it was closer to the house and its roof was weighed down with sandbags, it might of held up better. Despite my poor placement and lack of preparation, I’d say it still held up well enough for me to pick up the pieces! Definitely repurchasing.Space wise, IT IS SMALLER THAN EXPECTED.I estimate that 3 adult cats can comfortably stay in the cat house. I have seen 11 cats (mixture of 4 adults, 3 juveniles , and 4 kittens) stay inside during a heavy rain, but the house is so compact, they look like a clown car when they exit.
