I put this in my 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ to replace a horrible aftermarket knob. This has a great weight and feel, and it was a easy, stock-style mount. Only critique (that might actually work for someone else) is the printed shift pattern on top. It's a light transfer on the surface, not recessed or etched. It will wear off quickly, and a quick swipe with lacquer thinner would likely remove it completely if you wanted it gone. Overall a really nice bit.

I bought this to replace an aftermarket six-speed knob the previous owner put in my Jeep Wrangler TJ. Super easy installation and it feels great. Very solid.My only worry is that the shifting diagram may wear off over time. But that's an issue for future me.

Edit, i just bought another one as the last one was my favorite shift knob I ever had so i had to get another for my new civic im loving it!The numbers didn’t line up right but it fits and feels great so it’s a great deal imoEdit: I easily got the numbers to line up correctly simply by using the hardware they provided at first I didn’t realize I could use the silver nut to adjust it now it’s lined up perfect looks and feels perfect on my Megan racing short shifter in my ek civic

Got this for my elantra. This shift ball has a nice classic style that I was after, seems to be solid aluminum, and going through the gears is much better now.I would prefer a heavier ball maybe + 1 or 2cm in diameter, and the pattern doesn't show up very boldly on silver. I maybe should have gone with blue. Also the plastic thread adapter only screwed on a couple of turns before completely securing, so it sits 2 cm higher than factory shifter.

The size of this shift knob is perfect for me, its very comfortable to drive with and rest my hand on between shifting. The best part is that this shift knob fits my Jeep which is a 1984 CJ-7 with a 5 speed AX-15 Transmission. I hope this review helps other Jeep owners. Please take note that the AX-15 trans is from a YJ Jeep Wrangler that was swapped into my CJ. The shift pattern printed on the ball is good and I have been using this knob for a few months, its holding up well. I would definitely buy this again if the need ever came up.

Fits as advertised. Easy to install. I really like the weight of it, and after about a year of use the printed/anodized numbers haven't shown any sign of fading or rubbing off. Love the feel of it (mine's not as shiny as the picture makes it look, but it's not quite matte either).Of course, since it's metal, it definitely gets pretty hot during the summer and colder in the winter, but I'm ok with that and love the way it looks.

This feels like a nice knob, I like the weight and overall finish and packing. The adapter even look pretty good, the knob threads have left something to be desired. I had to wrap mine in blue monster thread tape (6 or 7 wraps mind you) to finally get some bite on the thread to get loctite to work. If you don't mind messing around a little, it's a nice knob. I have it on a VMS racing extender in the picture.

Bought it after my stock plastic shift knob broke. This is an upgrade from the stock piece in my opinion. Durability is going to be better than the stock plastic piece, however the trade off is that this metal knob will also get much hotter.
