Great sunhood for my Nexus 7 tablet while flying a quadcopter!
I use a Nexus 7 from Google (7-Inch, 32 GB, Black) by ASUS (2013) Tablet tablet as a video/camera monitor for FPV (first person view) when flying a DJI Phantom 2 Vision Quadcopter with Integrated FPV Camcorder (White). This sunhood fit the Nexus 7 nicely. It fits in front of the face of the tablet, rather than around the outside edges. It took me a little experimentation to get it mounted properly, but once I did I was quite happy and it was a stable, snug fit. I'll add some tips in this review in case it helps others who purchase this monitor sunhood for a Nexus 7 or similar-sized device.I used this sunhood in combination with KaysCase X-Shape TPU Back Case Cover for Google Nexus 7 inch Tablet Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (Black) and mount it to my TX controller with an AmazonBasics Universal Windshield and Dash Mount for Smartphones, GPS, and Tablets including iPhone and Samsung Galaxy. The tablet case, universal mounting bracket, and sunhood all fit and work together perfectly. To fit the sunhood to your Nexus 7 or similar monitor or tablet:1. Set the hood with the back edge of it on the table, so the hood faces up. The three sides of the hood should be standing on their edges with the large top piece away from you, and the two angled side pieces extending towards you. The two attached velcro strips should be laying flat on the table extending from the top section towards you.2. Place the tablet on its back on top of the two velcro strips. Set the three edges of the sunhood on top of the edges of the monitor.3. Fold the left velcro strip over the bottom edge of the monitor and upwards across the bottom left corner of the monitor. Slip it between the face of the monitor and the left edge of the sunhood about halfway up the left edge of the monitor. The loose end of the velcro strip will now be extending out the left side of the sunhood. Wrap it up around the left back corner of the sunhood, folding it around the top left edge of the hood and attach it to the velcro tab on the top left side of the top of the hood. The left velcro strip should now come up from behind the bottom left edge of the monitor, across the bottom left face of the monitor and out the left side between the face of the monitor and the hood, then wrap around the outside back left corner of the hood and attach to the velcro tab on top of the hood.4. Repeat with the right hand velcro strip, bringing it under the bottom right edge of the monitor, out the right side between the glass face and the sunhood, wrap it around the outside right edge of the hood and around the corner to the top of the hood, and attach it to the right hand velcro tab on the hood top.5. Take the free velcro strip (the one that isn't attached to anything) and put the soft side against the lower back of the monitor about 1/2" from the bottom edge, and wrap each end around the sides of the sunhood and attach it to the velcro edges of the hood sides. The three sides of the sunhood should now be facing outwards from around the top and sides of the monitor. You can adjust the strips to get it snug. The strip across the back will keep the two sides from flopping around.I added a small velcro self-sticking tab to the lower back center of my monitor case, under the free velcro strap. That keeps the free strap attached to the back of the monitor so it doesn't get dropped, so all I have to do it bring the two ends of that strap around the sides of the sunhood to attach them to the monitor.Overall, I am quite happy with this sunhood for my Nexus 7 as an FPV monitor for my quadcopter.

Does not fit NEXUS 7
It does not fit well on the NEXUS 7. I followed the other guys instructions, but he was also using some sort of jelly case. I'm not buying extra crap just to make this fit. May be great for other tablets or monitors, but not the NEXUS 7

Does not fit Nexus 7
Both generations of Nexus 7 are too long for this sun shade. The manufacturer makes no claims that this will fit the Nexus 7 so I refrained from giving it a low rating. It is very well made and includes two long attached Velcro strips as well as a third unattached strip. With some work you may be able to get it to stay on a Nexus 7 -- see reviewer UrbanLegend's step-by-step instructions on how he looped the velcro strips around his Nexus. I tried his method and was unsatisfied with both the effort required and the resulting lack of stability. Perhaps you will have more success. I don't want to have to mess with it every time I am preparing to fly out in the middle of a field.I returned the shade and will look for a larger one with a backside.

Poor product
A very poor product. It will NOT fit a 7 inch tablet. If you manage to get it on at all, it slips off at the slightest movement. I bought this to use on a FPV tablet with my DJI Phantom controller. A total waste of time and money.

Sunshade I bought for my Kumba Cam FPV
Fits well on my Kumba Cam FPV Supersonic 7" monitor. I would be MUCH happier if the seller provided a manual or at least a sheet showing HOW the velcro is recommended to be placed to fasten it on a monitor. Need instruction sheet please. It does work and once I figured it out it is well worth the cash!

Hodd that I used for my Digital Prism monitor
A little cumbersome to fit. Does the job of shading the monitor when I shoot outside under the sun. Foldable and easy to store.
