Good tire gauge for the price.
This gauge is much easier to use and read than the pencil gauge type. I like that it came with the protective cover already installed.(Didn't have to order it separately). I have factory equipped tire pressure monitors on both mine and my wife's vehicle and this gauge proves to be as accurate and the readings are the same. It is a quality gauge at a good price and I would highly recommend it for use around the home for vehicles and lawn equipment.

Very accurate
Accuracy is very good. Compared it to several other gauges. I like the bleed off valve. The one thing that I do not like is the hose is very stiff and difficult to move around. It wants to stay curved. Maybe it hasn't "broken in" yet.

the most reliable dial gauge i've owned - even after 4.5 years.
i purchased this "4x4" accu-gage on - purchased on october 16, 2012 and use it at least once a month, sometimes more.i like to "fact check" my tire pressures before and after tire rotations/balancing/alignments just to make sure when people tell me they do something to my car, all of it is true. generally, my readings with this gauge are about 1-2 psi variance depending on the store/dealer and the car.i don't race or track my cars anymore, so i don't need a professional grade tire gauge reader. in the attached pic, the 4x4 gauge is side by side next to my new 8/20/2017 purchased "60" gauge. both were taken pressure within a second of each other and the 4x4 gauge still holds pressure after 1-2 minutes while my new "60" gauge is already starting to vent pressure.pros:+ long neck is handy when the valve stem is at an awkward angle and you might not have even clearance to make a reading otherwise without physically moving the car = what a first world problem...+ gauge comes with rubber surround : i can't recall if i have ever dropped this reader though+ seems to be 1-2 psi in variance with auto shops/dealers = accurate enough for me+ decently priced at about $15.00, not the most expensivecons:- crystal face is made of cheap plastic, it scratches easily.- dial face is black, which is fine to read during sunlight but after dusk, it can be hard to read since the dial background is dark and the crystal is reflective- long neck length may take up more space to store or awkward to carry in pocket = another first world problem causing rivers of unicorn tears...

Great gauge, release valve, easy to read.
Great gauge. I was looking for a gauge that I could use to adjust my air lift bags in my dodge ram 1500 as well as tire pressure on my vefhicles and trailers. I read the reviews and this gauage had very positive comments. I am glad that I purchased the 4x4 Accu guage as it is perfect for this application. The release valve, easy to read face and rugged construction allow me to give this item 5 stars.

Off by 7 psi or more
Would return it if it wasn't too late. I had one just like this that lasted 10 years with no problems. This new one lasted a couple months. I realized it wasn't accurate when one day it told me all 4 tires were way overinflated, and I believed it because I had just come back from a gas station with an automatic refiller that I had never used before and I was double checking. (I always use my home compressor). I was worried that the machine overinflated my tires so I deflated them and suddenly my tire pressure warning gauge on my instrument panel lights up and the car suddenly developed a wobbly steering wheel at low speeds. I checked the air in my other car with the gauge and it told me all of my tires were overinflated as well on that one....even the one tire that has a constant leak due to an alloy rim being slightly corroded. That tire is always at 27 psi by experience and this gauge was telling me it was overinflated to the high 30s. So I ordered a different usa assembled gauge (from parts all over the world I was told by a longacre rep), and that one is more believable and it had an angle chuck as well as a ball chuck, but I like the angle chuck on that one better for my Toyota tires that have hard to reach Schrader valves. Filled all my tires up and all back to normal. Now I have to chuck this gauge in the trash.

Great Tire Pressure Gauge
My old Milton Accu-gage tire pressure gauge finally died after more than 20 years. This gauge is very similar to my old one. The only difference is the red hose is not very flexible compared to my old one. I can either replace the new hose with the old one or just get used to the new one.
