I ordered it and another one that was slightly less expensive and returned this one. That was a mistake, in one week the other broke from wind and I had to throw it away, plus the lights did nothing! Then I reordered this one and it has been amazing. The lights are genuinely bright and the material is like Sunbrella fabric. It is strong and sturdy. Although a bit heavy once titled to tilt back it does its job perfectly. I would order it again as of now.

As beautiful as it is, this is a very dangerous umbrella, we tilted the umbrella to block the sun as it's designed to do, and thank god my friend moved before the tilt joint snapped or we would have had a very bad situation, it literally snapped within 30 seconds of tilting . It's to late to return, but I felt compelled to change my review to hopefully save someone else from these troubles. Maybe this was just a faulty umbrella, as I stated below, one of the arms was bent when I received it. But for dang near $200.00 I would expect more.If the manufacture contacts me, I will update.Beautiful umbrella with heavy duty material... And the lights are wonderful... The only problem is that one of the arms came bent and with the tube framing, I’m afraid it might snap if I try to straighten it. I would have returned it, And got another one, because it is so nice, but I put it up and threw away the box before I discovered the problem... Otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars...

It's a nice umbrella. Perfect size. Decent price. Unfortunately the color faded so fast. I know it came with a tote that could be used to "protect the color" but who covers their umbrella every other day? It's almost 8 feet tall and attached to a table.

I love the Size. It is Great for my small (Townhome) patio. AND I LOVE the SOLAR Lights at the top of the umbrella. When we are planning to sit outside for any length of time, we add a mosquito net to keep the insects at bay. Then when the sun goes down, we can turn on the solar umbrella to have some very nice light - without having a bright outdoor light on that would attract...you got it...insects! I do not ever want to go back to having an umbrella without solar light. OHHHHHH and also it is Taller than my previous umbrellas. I love that - so you don't feel cramped under it when you stand up. I can't say enough about how much I LOVE this umbrella. I've told all of my friends about it - and even done "show and tell". Now, they all want one too.

I was very satisfied with my purchase. However, today when trying to open the umbrella, the rod that supports it broke in two?? I was very surprised by this breakage! For the cost I paid for this purchase at US$149.99 and not CAD $$, I expected it to last much longer than a few months!! I think his support already had a weakness originally!So what do you offer me? Send me another rod or replace my purchase?I expect an advantageous solution from you given the cost of this purchase and its limited longevity!!Thank youGinette Langlois

Used this for shade and rain on our screen patio. I didn’t want total dark shade, just nice and to keep the afternoon sun off our glass doors. This was the perfect fit and right amount of shade. Small lights are an added evening bonus. Very happy with this product2 years later it's still perfect. Crank works fine and no rust on any of it.

Nice umbrella, sturdy and tilts great to shade you from the sun. But the lights worked only once and then died! This was a main feature which was a deciding factor when I bought it.A little troubleshooting showed it wasn't the replaceable batteries in the module mounted at the top of the umbrella as they metered fine. So it's either the module itself, the wiring or the switch. Too much effort to troubleshoot further or to return it so I'll live with it as is.

Sturdy, easy to assemble and a fabulous addition to our deck!
