Pentalic 3" x 4" Pocket Sketchbook Traveler Journal, 160 Pages, Purple

Love this little note book that is 4x3 inches and fits perfectly into my pocket for my notes, sketches and other interesting ideas. It's about 1/2 inch thick and fits well in both my jacket and pants pocket. Great little journal, I really like the idea that it fits in my pocket. I have been searching for the perfect journal for years now having used all sorts of them I think I will like these the best. Since I really don't like lined paper and these are unlined and blank it will be the best thing for me to use. They are not really that expensive either in the traditional sense of the word. I have the smallest one and the biggest one also. They both fit in my pocket but the biggest one gives more room for larger sketches and a lot more writing. I love the fact these come in multiple colors that way I can color coordinate my journals as I have always wanted to do. I have tried all kinds of journals and this is by far my favorite.The paper is heavier than in other Journals and accepts pen, colored pencil, pencil, permanent marker (Needs a piece of cardboard behind the page as this type of marker will bleed through, accepts drafting pens with no bleed through, these are just great little journals for whatever need you have.I have moleskin journals and love them however they are so expensive and have way less pages to them then the Pentalic Art traveler books do. These are seriously the perfect pocket notebooks. Small enough to carry easily, with great paper that takes ink or graphite well. The band keeps it from coming open, there's a bookmark so you can save your place and purple is my favorite color. Carried this all across Italy on our recent vacation. it was perfect for everything from capturing bad poetry to jotting down shopping lists to remembering telephone numbers.

Cute little notebook, a bit smaller than I was hoping

I've bought two of these journals, and I absolutely love them both. I first bought a 6" x 4", Black journal and then I bought 4" x 3", Purple. I use the bigger one for journaling, notes, and doodles. I bought the smaller one with the intention of using it as one of those "What I Read" book journals. I knew it was going to be smaller than my other one, but when I received it I was still quite surprised by its tininess. That's absolutely not a problem though, and I actually really like the size. I might just by another one to keep in my purse for jotting down notes.For a journal so cheap, I was initially worried that the paper would be thin and disappointing, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and heavy it was. I haven't had any problem with bleeding with the pens (ink and gel) I've used.

I thought I was buying a product that was larger than what I got. I have no use for this useless book and I’m getting sick and tired of these bait-and-switch tactics online!

This little art journal is the perfect size for me. I like to draw tiny and I love purple, the color is awesome and the cover is super soft. It has nice thick pages, an elastic band to keep it closed, as well as an attached ribbon bookmark. I'm not sure what I will do with the pocket in the back, but that's cool too. I love that it fits anywhere and I can take it wherever I please!

Bought this for my daughter who was constantly trying to get at my moleskin notebook. Not wanting to spend that kind of money for her, I opted to get this for her as her own. It's small and has very nice paper inside of it. I was hoping for a bit more of a harder cover but it's doing exactly what it's for.

I really love this pocket journal. I guess when I bought it I didn't pay attention to the size but since it is so small it's easy to take with you and just be ready to draw at anytime. I use a fine tip Sharpie and it does not bleed through to the following page.
