The Noble Collection Harry Potter Hedwig Collector Plush

While I myself kinda hate the idea of supporting the Harry Potter franchise, my boyfriend loves them and made a comment about wanting a Hedwig plush during our trip to Harry Potter World. If that doesn't scream "Christmas Gift Idea", I don't know what does.My first and foremost goal was to find a soft Hedwig, and this fits the bill. Very hug-able and squeezable. I was concerned the feathers would detract from the softness, but it still met my softness standards.My second requirement: It had to be high quality. I found a much cheaper, smaller Hedwig plush, which I would normally have gone for in a heartbeat. This is a gift for my boyfriend, however, so a cheaper doll wouldn't cut it. This plush is by far the highest quality of all the many, many dozens of Hedwig plushes I stared at for a month while agonizing over the perfect gift. So are there less expensive options out there? Yes. But are the less expensive ones also lower quality? Yes. This also wasn't even the most expensive plush I saw out there, so for the level of quality to receive, it is pretty well priced. And it being a certified product is just icing on the cake after that.My final requirement: it had to stand on its own. I read some conflicting reviews on if this product could stand on its own or not, but I decide to risk it. Thankfully, mine does indeed stand 100% on its own. And thank goodness it does, because the very first thing my boyfriend did upon receiving it was stand up, walk to the counter, and set it down to test if it can stand on its own. This review would have been a whole lot less nice if it failed his test, so I cannot tell you the amount of relief I felt when it passed his test lol.Overall, I still kinda hate Harry Potter, but my boyfriend is happy, so what more could I ask for. It's large, high quality, stands on its own, is super soft, and it's even boyfriend approved. 9/10, hope I don't have to buy one again, but if I ever do, I know exactly where to re-order the next one from.

This Hedwig Owl is so soft and beautiful. He stands on his own with tail hung off table. Well-made item and good price. Cannot wait to give Hedwig as a birthday gift to my granddaughter.

I got this for my daughter and she absolutely loved it it is very firm but very soft fluff. It is incredible quality for the price. The only issue I found was that the fluff does shed a little but it doesn't bother me that much.

Looked at all the other owls, cheaper prices but the reviews did not say they were made well, or scrunched up in transit, etc. This is a large owl, very soft, fluffy hair, made well, quality. Perfect out of the box.Worth $ to get what you want. Thanks!
