Magic Makers Match Box Magic Trick - The Great Illusion

I was looking more forward to getting this than anything I've seen from Magic Makers simply because of how easy it is to do. When I got the product I noticed the toothpick was slightly bent but that is nothing, Get another tooth pick and you'll be fine. Any color, but since a regular wooden one is a better illusion use that.This is the issue I noticed right away and I apologize if you already don't know how it works but there are a few Youtube videos that reveal it. I personally want to know how it works before I buy anything so I research. I suggest everybody does the same. Read further if you want to be spoiled. The brass bar has a slight discoloration where it separates. For this reason I highly suggest you do not show it to an adult or more so an adult who's 'curious' and is going to keep hounding you to see your props. If you keep it at a distance at the table it will be fine. But don't hand it to anyone or they may 'see it'. It's hard to guarantee for sure. One thing to protect you is that it's hard to separate in the first place. They would have to be an idiot in front of everyone trying to pull the pieces apart.It's not a game changer by any means. Just be aware when you perform it. I don't think kids will see it at all.

Very stiff needs to be oiled up then used a few times to get the oil off. But it does work.

Edges are smooth and not sharp. Product is well built, little thinner brass and there is rubber sealant in gimmickMajor issue is the brass I got was not super leveled - its a hit and miss, I purchased it before without this issue.Price is higher of what it used to beThis is the only magic trick that I keep purchasing again and again. A great little trick for a great price. Very effective.One note: it may not be appropriate for very young magicians or people with arthritis. It is like that for a good reason, but just be aware. The first one I received was even inoperable by several fit, grown men, but that was a defect. The seller I got it from, Knockout Novelties, Inc., replaced it with absolutely no hassle for another one that worked fine, but it still takes a bit of strength to prep and use.

Easy to perform. Somewhat tough to squeeze the inside part of the trick...

This is one of the best magic tricks I ever owned. And I own a lot of tricks.
