Get new screws!
The pencil sharpener is great but the length of the mounting screws ridiculous. They barely fit the width of the sharpener and you cannot mount it because the screws are not long enough. A big flaw!That’s all I want to say right now.Just irritated I have to make a special trip to tha hardware store to buy longer screws!

This is a great pencil sharpener -- it's been a long time since I've had really sharp pencils - this one really fills the bill!

Not a good product
When I received the first sharpener it was damaged so I exchanged it for a new one. The replacement appeared ok. I mounted it on the wall and the handle broke when I tried (for the first time) to sharpen a standard wood pencil. I returned the sharpener for a refund.

Wonderful Old School Sharpener
I have wanted one of these for years! It's wonderful! I love these sharpeners. They are sturdy, easy to use, adjust easily for different size pencils, sharpen beautifully and easy to install to a wall or other surface.

Misleading Advertisement
I am sure the sharpener will work. It is brand new and just out of the box but the main reason I chose to purchase this item was because the web page illustration showes TWO spinning sharpening wheels which typically does the best job in sharpening a pencil. This item just received has just ONE sharpening wheel so Amazon or the manufacturer needs to remove the picture of two wheels as the illustration is very misleading.

It’s durable and works
I got tired of the frustration of the basic pencil sharpeners that would either keep breaking my lead or dull in a day or so leaving about a quarter inch of blunt lead at the tip. Impossible to sketch and get accurate measurements. I got this pencil sharpener and my pencil is consistently sharpened in 2 seconds keeping me focussed on my designs. It’s pretty much like the ones I used back in grade school in the 80s and 90s that just keeps working consistently every time. I recommend this sharpener to anyone who wants a hassle-free dependable manual sharpener.
