Very nice, doesn't take up much space
This is a very nice, sturdy revolving shelf. A little difficult to put together but came out nice in the end. Fits a lot of books!

Not as easy to assemble
The product says easy to assemble this is not true. Need someone who is strong to pop into place. No tools required so I thought it would be simple to put together but that is not true. It comes with gloves and sandpaper which is pretty weird to me but we did not use.

No option to contact seller, which is inconvenient when one piece is damaged.
This bookcase was fairly difficult to put together. The pieces do not fit together very well due to the T-shaped tabs. I wound up using a rubber mallet to force them to fit together. The shelf comes with sandpaper, however, if I sanded those notches down so that they fit, the pieces would not be stable. I did not realize that this shelf was made of foam board. I am concerned about its ability to hold the large amount of books that fit for a substantial amount of time. As of right now, it is stable and holding. At first, I didn't realize that the fins could face different directions depending on the orientation of the baseboard. I had put together three levels before realizing that the bottom level was oriented differently than the second two. What clued me in was that it was nearly impossible to screw in the screws going up from below the third level. At that point, I had to take apart what I had done so far. In the instruction manual, it shows all of the fins going the same way. When you do this, you cannot use the provided tool to screw in the provided screws. I set mine so that they were offset. shortly thereafter, I noticed a large chip in one of the boards. I figured it wouldn't be a big deal if I put it facing down, however, that board had to be oriented with the chip facing upward. It is highly visible in this position. On the plus side, it is the base of the last layer, so my daughter doesn't see it (a picking/OCD concern).Once I put the last layer on, I realized that it seemed odd that screws came down from the top on that level and not on the others. Looking at the instructions, I somehow missed the tiny lines indicating screws be inserted from top down. Not having these screws makes the shelf less stable. I tried to pull apart the levels to insert the screws and figured out that because screws came up through the fins and the fins are inserted into the x-shaped center boards, it was impossible to do without removing all of the screws and starting over.I wish there was the option of contacting the seller regarding the chipped board. Amazon's only option is to return for a refund. It would be nice to be able to get a replacement board for the chipped one, even if it meant returning the chipped board.A few hints for assembly, if you made it this far: have a rubber mallet and something with which to protect the shelf handy; assemble the levels so that the fins alternate placement; when you go to put the fins in, make sure you put the bottom of the fins in before the side - this makes that step much easier; double check everything each time you insert; do not over insert the screws (which is easy to do in the soft foam board) if you do, it makes the base opposite where the fin is inserted bubble up.One bonus was a pretty doily thing for the top. Not necessary, but pretty, nonetheless.

rotating shelf
I just love the idea. Love the division of shelves. My husband did have me chalk the little holes that remained with the snap and attach. It did not need it. I love everything about it. If I could change one thing. It would be to have one shelf a little taller to hold larger book. it was so nice gathering books around the house and placing them all together!

Very good for the price
It was not hard to assemble. Holds good but if you put too many books it gets too heavy for turning.Overall I think it is good for the price and it is very nice size; doesn’t take too much space.

Decent bookshelf
The first one Amazon sent the base didn’t line up with the middle pieces properly, but the replacement shelf was good!! I wish for the price the materials were slightly better, but it does the job I want. When building pay attention to how the shelf pieces line up, I intentionally had them alternate but it would’ve bothered me if I put it together and didn’t notice there were two ways for the shelves to face. Overall happy with the product.
