Gator Cases Deluxe ABS Molded Case for Bass Guitar with Internal LED Lighting (GC-BASS-LED)

I bought this for my Ibanez SR300 bass and I love it. Fit's like a glove. I wish it had more compartments near the top end of the guitar, but I find stuff doesn't shift around too much when transporting it. The light is nice and fairly bright, but I haven't needed to use it much yet. Quality seems great. Would highly recommend this to others.

It arrived damaged. I know stuff happens in shipping that isn't the manufacturers fault but even looking at the rest of the product it seems flimsy and not something I'm going to trust to protect my bass.

This is a really nice, sturdy case. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the light is supposed to work like a refrigerator light…close the lid it goes out, open the lid it comes on. However, you have to use the on/off switch because the button doesn’t actually turn the light off and the batteries die.

In theory, for the price of the case you would assume this was a great deal. When it arrived, I quickly found that the whole top inner lining of the case was detached from the shell exterior. I peeked behind (since this was apparently an easy thing to do in this case) and found that it was hastily glued to the shell with some cheap hot glue or epoxy, and it had no hold on the case. Furthermore, the lining fabric is poorly and unevenly cut, and I’m convinced it was not secured to the case at any point. The problem therein was not with Amazon shipping, but in the work of the manufacturer for the missing level of effort and craftsmanship perceived with the case I received. Furthermore, it comes with a quality inspection certification dated over two years prior, so I’m hoping it looked immensely better back then. Incredibly disappointed that something like this would be sent out in the condition that it’s in.

This guitar case looks amazing the inside and outside but when you lay a top of the line guitar inside of the case the guitar should not be lopsided inside of it as it is with this case the light does not go out like it's supposed to it looks neat is all get out when it's lit up but it is supposed to go out when you close the case in this particular case it does not

I carry a Fender Jazz Bass In it, it holds the guitar very secure, lighter than a flight case.

This is a very thin case that makes me nervous. Light is very cheap, and batteries die very quickly in it. You could mount a much better one in the regular case. For this price, go with a nicer case
