Works perfectly and great price
I was using these to access ethernet on some IP cameras and to troubleshoot some 10G issues on a different board. Worked perfectly for both.

Good product
Reparing an old unit or starting a new project these work great. They're a little large but if you can afford the space for the bigger board footprint they work great

Easily Connect RJ45 Cat5 or Cat6 cable to other
I easily connected RJ45 Cat5 or Cat6 cables to my product that normally used 8 individual wires. Using 1 Cat wire with RJ45 will speed assembly. This adapter was good for testing to determine if the Cat wire would work (signal wise).

Faulty boards
Spent hours debugging code trying to figure out why it wasn't working. Eventually found that the pins on the back of the RJ45 were not soldered to the PCB. Checked the others and 2 out of the 5 boards were faulty. 60 sec with the soldering iron and all is fine.
