This oil has a very pleasant smell, and when I do face massage with Kumkumadi oil, it is real pleasure. I have read about wonders that this oil do with skin, so I wait when I can see real rezults.

Scent too strong...caused severe allergy...I use oils but this smelled like cheap roses

This is not original kumkumadi thailam. Bought this brand as it was a few dollars less than a popular one. Glad I tested first day behind the ear; it was itching as soon as I put it.

I was in India a year ago and sought out Kumkumadi Oil in a local pharmacy to bring home with me, as it was recommended by an Ayurvedi practitioner for healthy skin. I bought two bottles of this brand of oil (Vasu) and each bottle has lasted about 6 months, using 3 drops on my face morning and night. Last week I went on Amazon to replace my nearly empty second bottle and bought Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala Kunkumadi Tailam instead. It arrived quickly. That is the only good thing I could say. First it was a bright orange, which I found strange, and the odor was horrible. I have only been able to use a drop at a time, mixed with the little Kumkumadi I had left. Returning to Amazon, I was soooo happy to find the same brand that I had bought in India!! I didn't expect to find it here, so I'm thrilled. It looks like it may take a while to arrive, but I will do without rather than use the orange-colored oil. I have no interest in sales of either product, and I rarely write a bad review, but I can say that at 59 years old, my skin never looks dry and this oil has never caused any negative effects (i.e. pimples!). And I love the way the oil makes my skin glow! Of course, I only paid a few dollars a bottle in India for it, but this is still cheaper than flying back there to get it...

Did nothing for my skin except make it greasy. Would not recommend.
