Small and they work. I added a lanyard for my fishing needs. This replaced an old dull nipper.

I rate this item 5 stars in many areas, but overall I can only give it 4 stars because the edge just doesn't last. I ordered 2 of them and they have both dulled after only a handful of uses. It also doesn't cut braid well at all. I didn't exactly expect it to, but just wanted to throw that out there for others. If you will ever be cutting braid, you should get some form of cutter or scissors that have serrated edges (Boomerang tool comes to mind). If you will only be cutting light test flouro or mono, this tool will do the job easily and it isn't terribly expensive. I think I used it on some heavy line a few times which ultimately dulled it. For the fly fisherman cutting only light tippet, this tool is more than adequate and it allows you to trim very close to the fly.

If you fly fish, this is a must.Works great.Get one.

Great for clipping line. the eyelet cleaner works good too just wish the mouth around it was a little wider so you could rotate it. many painted jig heads are two big for that so you just have to pick the paint out with it.

This product looks like those you may have used and wish to replace, but is not. Speaking from 66 years of fly fishing experience. Bought two and neither had been sharpened. Could not cut 4x tippet. Threw them out with my household trash. One star rating only because of forced choice i.e. zero was not an option. Shame on you, Amazon!!!

Not very sharp. Fortunately I found my old pair from another manufacturer and cut line so much better then this new pair
