Got the large 22L model on a nice discount during Prime Days. We recently purchased a house that is built next to an underground spring and had previous foundation bowing due to the water. Old owner put in a wall anchor + french drain + double sump pump system and running a dehumidifier during the summer months is required to stay in the warranty for the water management system. Old owner sold their dehumidifier so I bought this one after doing a ton of comparison of similar sized models.I went into this skeptical on dehumidifiers in general (never had one anywhere I lived) but man, after running this thing in our basement for a few weeks I'm sold! I can't believe how much humidity is (was) in the basement, about 75-80% before running this. I am able to bring it down to around 45% and hold it there running this for about 18 hours a day. I usually have to dump a full collection tank out in the morning and in the evening. It's crazy seeing how much water is in the air down there and I feel better knowing that it's not as damp anymore. I can smell and feel the difference when I go into the basement. I'm going to look into using the hose to go into the sump pump well so I don't have to empty the water container often. I've also seen some people saying that the water catch tank is difficult to maneuver and it leaks, but I've had no problems unhooking and carrying a full tank twice daily. I highly recommend this unit. Bonus point for a sleek looking design and excellent packaging making this feel like getting an Apple product vs something else.

Looks great however my dehumidifier leaked all over my floor. I looked inside to seek if there was plastic or paper that caused the water not to drain into the reservoir. I would like to know what is going on because I can't imagine that this problem is normal. Is there something that needs to be turned or switched on or off on the control panel?

I use the HOGARLABS 4500 Sq. Ft Dehumidifier in my 2-car garage. It is super quiet and it removes the moisture very quickly. I plumbed it directly to the sewer pipe. Great quality.

Recently I had purchased a new dehumidifier as my old one had expired and I bought one that said it could cover $2,500 square feet and in a basement which is probably more difficult than any other type of area to cover keep in mind that the area that I'm covering is only 400 square feet and that one did not work so I went to this one which is $4,500 ft and my basement's never been as dry as it is now this machine actually works no I'm not down playing the other machine that I got and I didn't get it from the same company I'm just saying this machine is a good machine to keep your basement dry thank you.

So far, this dehumidifier is working pretty well. I really like how quiet it is compared to my other dehumidifier. I took away a star due to the water capacity. It's not as large as I was expecting. With this dehumidifier in conjunction with my other one, I can finally get my home below 50% humidity. I've only had this for a few days. I hope this can get me through the summer months coming up.

Don't buy this. Arrived in new packaging, but power button won't work, screen won't work, and dehumidifier cycle won't run. Just beeps at you. Too expensive for something that doesn't work.

If you have a basement this is a must have to get rid of excess moisture. Highly recommend

This thing is amazing. It is almost unreal the amount of moisture it pulls out of the air in my home. My wife and I definitely notice a difference when using it. The fan is a little loud. Especially on the high setting. When it fills up with water, it makes a loud beep and shuts itself off. Which is great, bc you know you need to empty it. My issue is that it beeps way too many times. One or two beeps is more than enough. Especially when you’re in the middle of a nap and this thing feels the need to beep eighteen million times and wake you up. Minor issue I guess, but if that sounds like a deal breaker for you, maybe steer away from this one. If you want a unit that more than gets the job done though… you can’t go wrong here.
