It works fine. But my Samsung is very wide and that stretches this small mechanism to it's farthest extent. It's holding on, though. Hasn't broken yet. This is my second one because I lost the first one but found it in the back seat. All good with a backup.

It's a bit of a bummer to have to get this clamp because really, I would love to just keep the original WixGear metal plate in my phone case. However, it prevents my phone from charging, and my new case is a royal pain to remove so that I can take the plate out, so I had to come up with a solution. I'm glad this exists, because it's the least-expensive option. Otherwise, I'd need a new case or new mounting system. So, now that I have it, I can say it's really sturdy, holds my phone well, and I still get the convenience of the magnet mount when it comes quickly attaching and detaching my phone when I drive. If you are in a similar situation, I recommend this clamp.

Piece of junk. Does not stay on a magnetic phone holder. Don't waste your money.

Works well but after a while the rubber starts to come loose and move when you're trying to put it on your phone

I couldn't find a flush mount with a clamp, so I bought this clamp plus a large flush mount magnetic base. I was sick of having a magnet in my case interfering with charging and not really holding well.This new combo is absolutely perfect! Easy to pop in various phone sizes, very sturdy (even on sharp turns), phone can go vertical or horizontal, and the setup is subtle. The clamp mechanism could be nicer and operate more smoothly, but it works and it's nice that it is metal. Fantastic and low cost. Very pleased!

The clip is easy to put on, and take off, the phone, and it holds the phone well. It makes my magnetic car phone holder useable.

I didn't want to put a magnet on my phone so I could still use wireless charging. This world will on my samsung s24 ultra, except it has fallen on turns and ended up by my feet.
