"Cod" has so many health benefits the list is endless and I am happy LLS offer a vegetarian base collagen powder for those individuals who don't consume meat. It's definitely worth a try, what stuck out to me was how light as a feather this powder is to use and you don't realise you are actually consuming collagen powder in your drink of choice. Firstly I like this company. I like their excellent quality, excellent customer service and ethical stance so I was very happy when they brought out this collagen with vitamin C.It's a really fine powder and mixes really well in smoothies, coffee etc with no aftertaste and there's a decent sized scoop so not too much powder in your drink. I decant mine into a container as it's less fiddly than closing the resealable bag ...easy to deliver through the letter box though.Since taking it, I've noticed that I have noticeably more energy, my digestive system seems to be calmer and my hair and nails are stronger. Didn't think it would affect my skin though but I just look better...brighter somehow!I wonder if it's the added vitamin C that affects the uptake? I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome, (a connective tissue disorder), Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis and degenerative disc disease and whilst I'm aware this isn't a miraculous 'cure', it certainly helps my quality of life.It's comparable in price to another brand I've used and lasts a long time.
