Incredibly detailed
This is typical Tamiya. Psychotic levels of detail that demand you take the time to weather and paint this as carefully as possible. Bolts and hinges demand oil stains, the shield and other parts scream for weathering and marking. Paint flakes, rust, stains, and all the miriad of other things that can happen to a combat piece are waiting impatiently for you to pick them out and go nuts with a paint brush.This is also typical Tamiya in the accuracy of the model, and it is probably about as close as you can get to historical accuracy in models. I have always had a passion for Tamiya models as they take the greatest care in getting it just right, and getting as much detail as they can into the model scale. I'm not such a fan of their pricing, but to be fair, they earn it.The effort made in creating this model makes it an excellent addition to any model collection. It is also a valuable and historically accurate piece of equipment for diorama building, and to be perfectly honest, Tamiya models excell in this sort of use. They look really, really good in dioramas, more so than most other model manufacturers. I think perhaps, because they look so real, you lose the "it's a model" eyeshades for a while.Excellent model from a company with a reputation for excellence.

This kit has sooooo many possibilities
First off this kit is typical Tamiya quality, clean,crisp, molded parts, choice of 2 presentations ,deployed or on its' trailer ready to travel. The Flakvierling was hauled around by any number of German vehicles , and by any captured Allied vehicle they pressed into service . It was also mounted on just about anything that crawled, rolled, or floated ( E Boats, Armed Barges,Siebel Ferries, some Surface Ships, and even U Boats modified as escorts ) I chose to mount one of mine on a captured British Bedford Lorry . This is not so far fetched ,as it was also deployed on German trucks (Opel Blitz) and Maultier's 1/2 tracks on the Eastern Front) . There are quite a few "crews" and support figures out there , So go for it ,and HAVE FUN

Good kit!
A very good kit that has a lot of quality for the low price! Definitely makes a nice addition to a diorama and/or moc!VERY little flash, clean details!
