It's a little thinner than Linx pergola kit, but is sturdy and fits more snug.Was 37.5% of cost than Linx.I do wish it came with black screws instead.I would buy again.

Sturdy attachment for the gazebo we are building. Especially at high winds. Good quality, easy to use.

The product is well built. The dimensions are extremely tight to fit over a standard Pressure Treated 4x4. You will probably need to, as I did, shave down and soften the edges of the receiving end of the 4x4. Then drive the fitting on with a block of wood and a hammer. Be sure to proceed slowly and in steps as you do not want to make it a loose fit. Because of this be sure and build the unit completely before you put in its final position. The process is tedious but worth the time.

Don't paint the wood or at least the ends that go into the brackets. I had to sand the paint off so the ends would go in easily. I wanted to have the wood painted on the ground so that I didn't have to get up on a ladder and do it later. Brackets has a nice tight fit that I wanted and this 3-way corner does not disappoint. Other brackets say 3.6 and its just leaves a bit of gap for me. This seller was out of the 3-way T and I had to get someone else's product to complete my project. Don't know the longevity of this product but will try to post if anything changes. but as of now, I'm happy with the way way it looks.The screws could be hex rather than philips head, I stripped a couple even though I drilled a pilot hole first. I found that my Deck Mate ( screws that came with a free bit) driver bit worked much better than Philips #2. My #3 bit but didn't fit.

The opening for the vertical post is great and easily accommodates a 4x4 post, but the horizontal openings are significantly smaller for some reason. I had to spend lots of extra time on each post with a jigsaw and a sander to get the horizontal posts to fit. A royal pain!

They're strongly constructed but there's a good 1/8" wobble and the screws were meh and strip easy even on the first initial drive.

I have spent hours trying to get these to fit any 4x4 post with 0 luck. Big waste of time energy and money. Broke my own rule, I only buy items that have more than 100 reviews. Save yourself the frustration and anger.
