Good product, took it to home depot to just have it cut and then programmed the key using FORSCAN and works great. Remember to also program the romote for the lock/unlock

Bought as a spare key for our Lincoln MKX. Be prepared as there are a couple things to know ahead of time.- not all places will cut keys that are also FOBs- you need at least 2 existing key FOBs to program yourself.- programming the key to start after being cut may start the vehicle but the remote buttons may not work.- to program the buttons, you need to follow the remote programming sequence (in our case 8 turns on and off with last being on, then push a button to program, but u need to program all remotes.)If you know all this going into it, you can save some serious money vs going to a dealership or using a key cutting kiosk where they ship a key.

Got it programmed but the buttons do not work to lock and unlock the door put a new battery in that didn't fix it

Bought as a replacement
Took a lock smith. They cut the key for me. Will not program to my car. Since it will not program the only thing it will do is unlock the door and truck using Key hole. Will not remotely unlock/lock/open the trunk. Will not start the car.

Programmed perfectly.
We have a 2012 Ford Escape. Got this key and it readily took the programming. It must be noted that programming the key to start the car is separate from programming the remote entry fob. Check YouTube and you'll find how to properly program this key.

Amazing key fob all The buttons work great and it saved me form spending $300+.For anyone that the buttons aren't working for you have to program the key first I drive a 2012 ford fusion and to get mine in program mode I had to turn the key eight times Probably different for every model
