Sure there are nicer jackets, but for $14, this is a steal. No it's not top of the line, and if you are bigger than XL, maybe look elsewhere. But for me, 5'6" and usually wear women's large or XL, it's excellent. Really cuts down on mosquito bites! I wasn't sure I'd use the hood, but sometimes I do if I'm just sitting around. It of course is harder to see though than air, but not having those skeeters buzzing in my ear is golden. It's not top knitch stitching or anything. Be gentle with it, wash on hand wash or delicate and hang dry. But honestly. Five stars for the price. It does what it's supposed to.

My rating is based on the size (one size fits all); I'm a women's size 12 usually. I ordered this accidentally, and instead of returning it, my partner took it. He's either XL or XXL (I don't recall) and it was snug getting it on and off. I forgot to look at whether the hood connects to the jacket in front. The description doesn't say. But another reviewer said it can be "pulled down in the front and gathered below the neck so that your face is protected."I ordered this Shark Shooter jacket, thinking I'd ordered the Coghlan mosquito pants to go with the (smaller) Coghlan's brand mosquito jacket that I got. My mosquito pants are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I can't wait!

For the price, it's fantastic!I'd recommend. It is a little thicker than I had expected, which should help it hold up and prevent ripping over time. However, in Texas it's still quite hot/humid and had expected it would be a little more lightweight to allow breeze more than it does. Also, the thickness prohibits seeing out of the mesh more than I was hoping for as well. I am wearing while hunting and low light vision is at a premium. I'll probably need to remove the hood and deal with the mosquitos for a time during the low light.None of this is a deal breaker at all. I'd buy again.

Very happy with this! The mosquitos were terrible in our yard this year! I water our garden every morning and sometimes in the evening along with other garden chores and it was almost impossible to keep those bugs away! Once I got this it worked great! They were so bad that I pulled the hood over my face and tied it there! It's so thin, I could see just fine through it! Just hope the neighbors didn't see me, I looked like something out of a horror movie!

It works but it's to hot when u wear it

Too small in size. Needs to be bigger or offer a larger size.Item design and fabric is right on.

I like the large hood and sleeves are long enough I can pull my hands in them.
