The mixer is soft silicone rubber with 3 blades. If I fold the blades tight to the stem I can slip it into a jug or even a bottle and get it out again. If I have a bottle of glue that has been on a shelf for a long time I don't have to try and shake it to mix it. I put one of these on an extension and slip it into the bottle. Run it with a drill for a bit and it's perfectly mixed again. Saves time, effort, and money. Very pleased.

I use this to mix small batches of hydrocal. Before I used a tongue depresser. This mixes more thoroughly with less lumps. It is only 5 inches long so a Dixie cup was perfect. I think it would work with resin but haven't tried it yet. Love it.

I got this brand of resin stirrer for my daughter to use, but it needs a button to be pressed the entire time it is running so wasn't as convenient as we had hoped.Setting that aside, if you do enjoy having a mixer, extra mixing attachments are a no brainer to allow for multiple colors without cleaning between colors. These fit in the mixer perfectly. They are a nice weight and feel stable. Cleaning is a breeze. Expect they will last a long time.
