iDesign 60663 Pebblz Dish Mat, Large Plastic Sink Protector, Draining Board Mat, Graphite

Unconvinced by my sink manufacturer website saying fine scratches add to the attractive patina of the stainless steel over time, I decided to try out a sink protector. This suits the sink well and I removed some 'pebbles' for drainage purposes. I haven't found any problems of staining to the protector as some reviews mention but it is rinsed thoroughly both sides after use. Also I prefer not to leave it permanently in place to avoid any staining it may cause to the sink surface. It has been in use for several weeks now and the only thing which can be annoying is that cutlery sometimes escapes underneath it as there is slight movement of the protector when washing up. Apart from that I can recommend this product.

We already have the clear mats and they are good. However, they discolour terribly and within days can quickly loose their aesthetic appeal. No I am not throwing pots of paint down my beautiful white ceramic sink! Anything with a tomato base will discolour the mats: so spaghetti, lasagne, a curry, or even soup and the mats change from a lovely neutral to a yellowy vomit coloured plastic.Ordering the graphite colour mats was suppose to change this. But once they arrived the colour of the mats was pale grey, not a dark graphite as the name would imply. I was hesitant to use them as i had little faith these would not discolour either and hence they are being returned. A shame. If the colour reflected the description, I would have had more faith in the product.

I bought this to protect my sink drainer from scratches. It does the job, looks nice, but gets 4 stars as I consider it expensive for what it is.

I have found this product very useful, it is exactly what I wanted. Keeps my porcelain sink scratch freeand looks quite exquisite. I have already had several complimentary comments in the short time I have acquired them. They are made of a reasonably sturdy plastic, there is a slight smell of plastic when first used but nothing to get e sink

If you want a sink mat, then this a good one. It is not hideous and naff (as they usually are), allows the water to drain through, the graphite colour doesn't show stains if you make a tiny bit of effort and give it a wipe, and the mat stops the wife from chipping what's left of the good china (or at least it slows her down).
