If Carslberg did notebooks....
I know it's weird to get excited over a notebook, but I absolutely love Clairefontaine! The paper is so silky smooth - if you run your fingers over the page you can't feel any roughness or fibres. The ink doesn't streak, bleed or run, neither does it go through the page onto the other side. It's heavy, good quality paper that is so wonderful I almost don't want to spoil it by writing on it! Yes, it's more expensive than other brands, but you really do get what you pay for with this (and no, I don't work for Clairefontaine!!).

Fantastic Paper, Flimsy Cover.
I love the paper the Clairefontaine produces, for some reason I expected a more quality cover and backing but other than that the notebook is excellent, the wirebounding makes it very easy to bend over without breaking a spine and the paper is so smooth you will have a very enjoyable writing experience! Perfect notebook for school, or even more professional things.Pros;+ Lightweight+ Slim+ AMAZING Paper!Cons;- Flimsy covers- Huge margin- Rounded corners on pagesBalance those out and you'll find you have a pretty good notebook, with some room for improvement. If you're a fan of Clairefontaine paper, or you're a first time buyer, this is for you!If you want a more premium feeling notebook (excluding the paper) then I would maybe look at some other options.

Not hardback
Lovely quality paper, but disappointed that the cover is soft. I was looking for the hardback spiral bound like the ones I bought years ago
