H&R HR 290132 Lowering Springs - Blue

As expected from H&R perfect ride hide, on a vw scirocco 2015 R line, these are high stock, if speeds bumps are high will need to go very slow not to scrape the front bumper and it's not going to mount the pavement, handling is very good but firm can be very harsh over potholes and bad roads, added 12mm wheel spacers at rear 10mm at front looks great and no issues, can go 12mm all around if you wanted to

My son had fitted these to his scirocco, as he wanted it lower. I was convinced he would ruin the ride but no it felt really planted.So I bit the bullet and ordered them, they came as expected, well packaged and nicely painted blue, clearly marked front and rear. The back are fairly straight forward to fit, just over an hour. However the front are bit involved, the front hub has to be loosened, the drive shafts disconnected to get the strut out, then compress the spring, taking the top strut bolt off is a nightmare , then put it all back together. There are a few good videos on U Tube, the important thing is have the correct tools, a set of splines is required, also you can do the back one side at a time but the front requires both sides of the ground or the anti roll bar gets in the way.It is worth it, the ride isn’t too harsh and the car does corner better. Does it look better, yes if that’s what your looking for, I also fitted 15mm spacers all round as we had a spare set.

Good quality product. Lowers car just enough without slamming in. Does not really after ride. Would Definately recommend these
