Need a firm grip
Does what it says, nice spiralling of carrots, courgettes etc into long, thin, wide (more like fettuccine than spaghetti) curly strips. However, you do need a really strong, firm grip, which can make it hard to use. The twisting is not a problem as the grooves help, but you have to grip it by the body very firmly throughout the process to get the required results, which can be a little tiring. Can be a little awkward to clean as well if there's food stuck in the blades. Edit: realised you can turn the end around and use it to make more spaghetti style strips – courgetti here I come!

Not bad.
A bit tricky to use at first, and you still waste some of the veg by trying to cut it to shape. But does what it is supposed to.

Disappointing
Very disappointing, having to keep a constant pressure on the outside of the product while turning the spirallizing bit is quite sore on the hand, it says it dishwasher safe! I have just taken it out of the dishwasher and the large central piece that you turn to spirallize the veg, the inside of it is full of water, how it has got in I don't know, but it shouldn't be able to get in. On the whole wouldn't recommend it, not what I expect from a Zyliss product

Easily washable
Quite compact and easy to clean but you really need some strength to use this, especially for harder veg like carrots. I'm a little disappointed to be honest.

Compact manual spiraliser
The Zyliss spiraliser is a compact, manually operated device which I find handy around the kitchen for producing attractive and appetising ways of presenting salad vegetables and fruits for the table. It's about the size of a 500ml tumbler, and the absence of any power leads for mains operation makes it ideal for using on any worktop, or even on the table. The downside is that it takes a bit of arm muscle to work it. The sides are gripped and squeezed with one hand while the other turns the barrel and compresses the contents so they are spiralised. The results, after a bit of work, are good and I find the effort required worth it for having a completely portable spiraliser.

Easy spirals
Well made product and the design supports the vegetables being spirallised. Needs a firm grip to operate that might not suit elderly people.

Almost Perfect
The points for holding the veg on the twisting handle need to be a bit more pronounced so as to avoid slipping.

No funciona

Cdt.
