Great sling
This is a great sling, paracord is plenty strong even throwing large rocks and comes with nice leather pouch that is really quite durable, knots were not perfectly balanced but easy enough to fix.

Amazing toy for very little money!
This is an awesome and fun toy for a very reasonable price! The build quality is good. Its just paracord and a nice little leather pouch. 10/10 recommend.

NOT a sling-shot
Been a long time since I've used one of these, let alone made one.I would have made the pouch a hair bigger, but that's personal preference, this one is quite functional. Materials are strong and long lasting. They don't affect form or function but ( again, personally ) I would have used some different knots for a more " finished " look. ( check out the possibilities with macrame or marlin spike ).People who have never used a shepherd's bow should realize using a sling, while not especially difficult, does take some practice to come near your target. Give yourself plenty of room, Have fun.

Better than a Chuck-It!
The media could not be loaded. On average, my basic tennis ball throws are about 20-25 paces which at about 5’ a pace gives like 100-130’ give or take. With a chuck it, it adds about 5-10 paces. With this, EASILY doubles a basic throw. Consistently throwing out to 40 paces. My furthest throw for this is to let it hang about 6 o’clock in my right hand, swing clockwise, at about 12 or 1 o’clock I really throw my weight into it and begin to release by throwing the knotted end at about 7:30 or 8 o’clock. A 45 degree arc gives the furthest throw, with a tennis ball is about 250’ easily every time. With a chuck it ball or a lacrosse ball… it’s over 400’ and well beyond my dog’s fetching eyesight. For a few bucks and a few days’ learning curve, not a bad tennis ball chucker.

easy to use and store
Better than the paracord and duct tape home made version I made, certainly better than the stick things. It throws well, vary rarely drops the ball, can be used to pick balls up off the ground, and the knots can be adjusted to fit anyone 6'2" or shorter. It can be packed small easily, about the size of a tennis ball. Only upgrade is to throw something denser than a tennis ball, a rubber ball the same size but heavier goes twice as far.

This shepherd's sling was made with durable materials and was just the right size.
I liked the way this sling felt and preformed. It is fairly easy to use and hard to master. This type of sling can generate a lot of velocity when hurling a golf ball size rock a few hundred feet. One has to be aware of their surroundings so as not to cause physical injury or property damage. this is fun to use.
